Hi my vehicle is playing up a bit with the idle
1.it doesnt idle up or down when the ac gets turned on
2. it doesnt idle up or down when the the gearbox is selected from drive to park
3.it doesnt idle up or down when its hot or cold

Now everything ive read and researched on the subject makes it point to the iac valve

Ive tested the valve while on the vehicle with the resistance test and it is within range of 10-30 ohm

Ive removed the iacv and applied power to the terminals in sequence and the center moves in and out

So all the tests tell me the iacv works but it doesn't so what else could it be

BTW I have also changed over the ecm and still the same,
this is radioactivw car by the way,im here to help

What RPM is the car idling at?

I would remove the hose that goes to the iac and see if you can feel / hear the iac sucking air or not

If RPM is above 1000rpm i would look for any air leaks that might be causing it to idle high

Sure sounds like iac fault then, remove the 19mm hose going to it and you should be able to hear it suck air in with the a/c on and when cold
