Hy all, just a question.....

Just installed a bov and want to know is it better to block stock bov vacuum line and use my aftermarket bov vacuum line straight in or get a T adaptor and have both vacuum line going in....? Hope that makes sense....

IF I did block stocky, would I have to remove tha waste gate?

Hy don't know if that link will work but I haven't touch that....
Wit e stock. firstly... their is the end that u bolt on (2 bolts) then secondly their is the skinny rubber/silicon hose vacuum line and thirdly the the black medium hose opposite end of the bolt on end.
So all I have done is cut vacuum line and blocked it. (stock line) and wit my aftermarket bov I have use that line to go to the other end of where the stock vacuum line went.

In picture link below....not mine just random picture.....that way he/she has got Y joiner and just connected it that way......(RED SILICONE HOSE plus Y joiner)

I did have same setup as this.....(E.g Red solicone vacuum hose plus I use a T joiner instead of a Y joiner.)
NOW I have blocked off stock from wastegate(that's the stock wastegate isn't it? Or it's the stock bov)
And have 1 silicone vacuum hose from my aftermarket bov going in where the old 1 use to go....

Is that fine.......oh please help now I'm second guessing myself......arrrgggg

Hy' just needing to know ASAP if I need to block the bov as below.....?
(not the vacuum line, the medium sized black hose...?)

Link below of what I mean.....

http://www.performanceforums.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-67269512.html

Or can I leave as is, as long as the stock bov vacuum line is blocked.
(as discussed in recent above post between Bulldogger & myself.)

So do I have.to do this if I have installed a aftermarket bov?
E.g block stock bov completely or block stock bov vacuum line....?

you can do it the way i told you last nite with the one way valve or you could do it like in the pic with the stoppers clamped on..............or you can take off that pipe that the stock bov is attached to and weld up the hole

Thanks again bro.

So is their a difference between the 3 setups/removals for the stock bov....
if so which....just block vacuum line OR use Y/T joiner for vacuum line OR just weld stock bov hole?

Also just off topic....(random)...some pepz on web prob even this forum...say take out trc fuse out and will cut delimiter a bit getting
u over 180km....I also have a TRC button inside (stock) which has a light in dash... wats the difference...?
Is having button press so TRC is Off the same as Trc fuse..?

the only differance in the 3 ways is having the stock bov working or not Smile

you need to pull the fuse out from the fuse box for the traction control to die and get over the 180km mark that trc button even if on off you still cant hit past 180km mark........ you need to get a hks speedcut device like simpo has for sale Cool

http://www.jzs147.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10122

or a mines ecu which by reports from jamie is going be hard to find cost about $700-$1000
