I've never heard anyone ever have a single complaint about Shannons.. haha
I had many problems with them interms of claims and their customer service which was shit at the time i was with them. I used RAA HPI with my Skyline for a longwhile and was happy But I unfortunately lost a job and couldn't afford it and had to cancel my payments then some years later Went JustCARS but thinking of Going Back They are Good.

My old man had big problems with Shannons recently. They wrote off his car because some of the parts that needed replacing were hard to source. So they just put down stupidly high estimates to replace the parts to push it over the price limit for repairs. It seriously had hardly anything wrong with it. Shannons just put it in the too hard basket. Pretty disappointing for a company that says it understands your passion and that a car isn't just a car.

Shannons have choice of repairer, shouldn't your repairer have made the quotes?
I have been with Shannons for ages. Had my Aristo stolen and found. They were incredibly helpful, even paid for a full respray. _________________

Yeah Shannons for me was shit like ya said Depends who was on the other end I have heard good stories since and some mates have been with them for years. But ill never go back.

no i said RAA HPI in SA was good they are a very good insurer im thinking of going back to them. yeah i agree Just cars is really for me a temporary solution. I should get off my arse and find a better deal

Switching from Just Cars to Shannons this month, same price, $100 more on their excess, but $5000 more on agreed value and choice of repairer etc. _________________
