ok lads, help please.... i need ( A GOOD ) dyno place around the gold coast or Evan around brizzy..?
i will travel if i have to.... Mad being there is jack shit around where i live here..!!

my jzs147 is NOT right.... Dunno have spent a few hours under the bonnet ,trying to find what MAY
be the problem, with no luck..? nothing major at all , just not as smooth as she is as a rule..... Nervous

seems to dick about at 1/2 throttle , THEN all hell breaks loose, when the "twins" come together at around the 3000 to 3500 rpm... Confused and she is "humping" on idle , if you know what i mean....?

not a lover of dyno,s , i believe they are just "wank" when you have an A/M ECU doing most of the work
BUT...at the moment, the way the bitch is running, i will have NO rear tyres left very soon..! Suprised

if you can give me a place lads, that would be good..? PM, me here or call 0418800405....anytime cheers nick . Very Happy

I doubt a dyno will help you..

What boost pressure are you running on the first turbo? Sounds like you may have a boost leak somewhere causing it to run high..

Big dip during change over and then a sudden surge as it picks back up..

more like i am not getting much out of the first turbo lads......till 3 to 3.5 k in revs...?
THEN...................feels like the first wakes up and kicks in with the second one , which leads the bitch
to start wheel spin and trc flashing , then it changes into second and is all over the place... Nervous
but again.....there is that flat spot between the two and then ....EVERYTHING..!

A lot like, when a 147 is cold....and you are trying to get it to go.....! if you know what i mean..?

LOL I thought this was normal with BPU, thats what mine does Confused But I havnet boosted the 1st turbo so it goes normal boost then 3.5rpm ramps up to 1.2 bar and it getts rocken Very Happy

I use GT Auto garage, but I'm not sure that they would be the most knowledgable on the 2jz in Bris..

B-RAD performance, the supra guys swarm too. All accounts from them he is the king of 2j But I can't get him to answer the phone, (Maybe he is no more I dunno)
QLD south east qld fourm has his mobile number..

Mine too at odd times. it's the VSV's sticking or the solenoids packing it in. Throttle response in a hole then it all kicks in, classic symptom.

I've got my car in at hi torque performance in Labrador at the moment getting them to tune it for the single. I can let u know what I think after my car is done, but I know they have worked on a couple of aristo's before and have heard plenty of good things from other people about their work.

Nick on the gold coast I can think of 3 places I have heard of good personal experiance from mates who have used these business's.

1/ Matty Spry from PITS (never heard a bad thing about him, and have heard him recomended for years

2/ EFI Performance (A Mate used them for tuning recently and thought them to be great)

3/ Top RPM (These blokes I have a bunch of mates that love them, all Own serious cars 1000hp atw r32gtr, 700hp atw 34gtr, 500hp atw wrx just to name a few. They use them for everything engine building, fabrication, tuning. Also they now own the old gas motorsport celica so they must have a big interest in 2j's)

I havent personally used any of these blokes, but from what I hear they are all great.
