Anyone got a stock (or aftermarket) stereo head unit for sale? Just got home from a few weeks at sea and mine's deader than Julia Gillard's re-election chances. _________________

If thats the case you should go outside and double check if its still shagged, cause she's picked up four pecentage points in the latest Neilsens poll. Head unit might be coming back to life
If that's the best they can do on Neilsen after throwing buckets of cash around for the last fortnight I'm upping my punt at centrebet, if I can get a price. Neilsen/fairfax is worth an extra four points to labor, and on newspoll they flatlined again, not even a dead moggy bounce after all that cash and air-time. I don't think my stereo's coming back to life anytime soon. _________________
I've got a band-splitter fitted so an original would be OK, most of them wind up in the bin I'd say. Not so easy to find an aftermarket that fills the hole, plus they've got to be 2 ohm or I've got to replace the speakers as well. _________________
Doesn't look good for our nation's future, just went outside and the bloody things working now, hasn't since I got back last time after a month and the battery was flat. Might have a protective circuit which cuts current to accessories until there's enough amps or something. _________________

I have a japanese pioneer dvd one, also have a fold out tv screen. These were in the car when it came over I upgraded to a 7"double din unit. Will dig them out of there hiding place and take a picture if you are still looking for one.

Ive got a "Beatsonic SLA 30" for sale in the classifieds on here, which you will need if you plan to wire an aftermarket Headunit into the factory amp/speaker system.
Apparently I can wire a couple of resistors into the output line, I'll have a look though. A couple of troops have ones from import cars so they should slot in. _________________
Any idea on how you get the head unit out? I've trolled the web and can't find bollocks. Also rang a few fitters and none of the lazy sods ring back. Need to do the centre speaker too, it's buzzy. _________________
Swapped them over this arvo, was a doddle. Thanks mate, and thanks to the troop who sent me the replacement unit, all works (haven't tried the tape yet, have to dig ine of my fossils out). Anyone want an old head unit for parts? Welcome to pick up or I'll send for cost of postage. Will go in the bin if not wanted. _________________
