I have had a custom 3" front pipe made hooked up to a Venom 3" inlet / outlet + 4.5" body highflow cat connected to Kakimoto single..

I've just measured the distance from cat to ground at stock ride height and it is 10cm Bawling Car is getting Coilovers fitted Tues and wanted 2.5" - 3" drop but that will leave cat near on the ground Confused

So those with a round bodied highflow cat, how much clearance have you got ??

I'm a bit pissed off as the front pipe + cat isnt hugging the body of the car.

That means any lower and the car won't go over anything not to mention defect straight up

Do you want a measurement from the original shape of the cat or from the gouges and dents?

Very Happy

Hahahaha where is the like button?

Unfortunately unless you run some hectic 20's, if you want out car to look even remotely right wheel to guard clearance wise the thing is going to be riding in the weeds. Which is why I feel buying a 800-900 dollar jap exhaust is a complete waste of cash cause its going to get destroyed if you want you car to look any good.

My lowest point is 83mm and thats the stock cat, my super R's lowest point is about the same....my car is lowered on coils, but is still at legal ride height....my driveway wont allow me to go lower....its pretty dam steep...

LOL LOL

It looks like I have 1" + between the top of the cat and the under car..
Will try and get this tucked in closer..

So I'm thinking that unless your running stock cat or catless 3cm - 5cm is going to be about as much clearance if the car's lowered. = No getting into garage / Shopping centre / work carpark lol starting to become a little impractical Nervous

about 70mm to lowest point of exhaust here... I can get up my driveway but my front bumper just touches on the way out. Shopping centre ramps are a no-go but it handles most speed bumps, sort of.

I shit you not, I had to reverse down a shopping centre ramp that goes up to the roof as the speed hump at the top would of beached my car.. It was so awkward telling the people behind me to reverse back down..shit you not..will never ever take it to a shopping centre again..

Fuk I hate the car been so low, but it looks so good at that height..you win some you lose some I guess..

Ok so it would seem that if you want the car to look good = put up with a few issues, like not being able to drive anywhere otherthen flat road Embarassed

Going for a 2" drop now, that will leave me with 50mm clearance.

Not keen on running without a cat, would rather cop a defect for to low then no cat, easier to rectify
