yeah but there's a difference between having coilovers, or modded headlights... and crashing, killing a passenger and the cops and insurance company finding out you have no reo bar - a key part of the structural safety of the car.
Then again I guess they could rape you for coils or lights too so you're probably right.

the fmic acts like a reo bar anyways, she'll be right!
that silver risto has seen too many speed bumps/low curbs! _________________
you can fit a 600x300x75 FMIC without needing to cut the REO bar.
Yes I understand most coolers will fit behind the reo bar, but in doing so a large portion of the cooler is blocked off...
Pic 1 would be ideal if it had of been legal, plenty of airflow, and dosn't look as dodgy as pic 2
mate...........compared to the little (not very affective in my book ) stock I/C ....
anything you fit "in front" of a 147 ...HAS to be a 250 % improvement...!

its all down to individual taste, but I reckon pic 1 looks pretty dodgy too.
The rest of the 'cooler that's behind the reo isn't totally wasted. It's still helpful in acting as a heat soak for the short periods of time that road cars see full boost. _________________

For more than 90% of us on here it is not necessary to cut into the reo or the front bar purely to 'get more airflow'. When you are pushing 350rwkw+ then it's a different story, but ive never heard of an Aristo overheating because of a lack of airflow into the coolers/bay. Someone might be able to correct me here as ive been out of the game for a while.
