A few people asked for it, so here it is...
On the front page, down the bottom of the 'Whos online' section you will see a new link for the chatbox.
Click the link, the chatbox will open in a new window

So has anybody actually used it? I thought it would be a waste of time, but most voted for it - whenever I have checked nobody has been in there

I get on there when nobody is on and eventually time out... so even though the window is up, I'm shown as offline. Maybe increase the automatic offline/away time?

If you are in there, but not chatting, it says you are away, but not offline - or does that delete you from the front page as well - eg: not show you are there?

Yeah spent hours coding it in then customising the colors & layout - all the time thinking it was going to be lame & nobody would use it - so far my prediction is right
