Hey guys,

Just wanted ppls opinions...

This is truely breaking my heart, i've been meaning to post this up for the last two weeks but been trying to put it off.

Long story short, in the process of building a house, frame just went up...can't afford to keep my pride and joy anymore.

Little history on the car...i imported her in 2007, grade 4.0 in auctions. 76,000 on the clock. Now she has 91,000. Pretty much a weekend car from 2007 to the end of 2010. Only started driving her everyday from Dec 2010 when i sold my daily driver.

List of what the car has:
- Sliver in colour
- Grey Leather interior in great condition
- Sunroof
- 1993 Series 1
- Factory torsen

Stereo
Eclipse double din with built-in tomtom gps
Eclipse 4ch amplifier
Eclispe mono block amplifier
DLS 4" splits fronts
Eclipse 4" 2-way rears
DLS 12" freeair subwoofer
4ga power cables
twin-shielded highend rca's
Optima D34 Yellow deep cycle battery

Aesthetics
Genuine final konnexion body kit (Front, Rear, Side skirts and fog lights)
Euro style mirrors with indicators
Series 2 grill
19" Rays Engineering VOLK GT-C in gold
LED dash
James05 modded headlights
Phillips HIDs with 6000k bulbs

Mods
Jasma front mount intercooler
Veilside exhaust
Cucso coilovers
Single turbo conversion with HKS 3037 (Same core as a garrett GT3076) internally gated rated at 480 to 500hp (turbo blanket, braided oil line, 3" dump with 2x O2 bungs, modified stock airbox with K&N filter)
IMEC ecu (Similar to mines) Boost cut removed, higher rev limiter etc.
Supra 4-pot brakes with OEM supra rotors
Cusco catch can
PLX wideband with gauge
Autometer pro-comp boost gauge
Turbosmart 800hp fuel pressure regulator with gauge
Walbro in-tank fuel pump
Davies Craig 678 trans cooler
Greddy profec B electronic boost controller
HKS turbo timer
12-volt mod performed

So the question is...do i sell the car as it stands with all the mods? This is what i really want to do but going by recent trends, it won't sell for what i want. It'd be a shame cause i spent a lot of time finding the right car and it has everything you could want. The car was stock when it landed and all the mods were done to my liking.

S do i part it out? or do i return the car to stock and sell off the aftermarket parts....?

Would anyone be interested in parts?

wouldn't be hard to sell computer, coilovers, headlights, LSD, rims, leather seats, body kit, head unit/gps, and exhaust.

i think there is def more money in parts but its more effort aswell.

skotie fox is looking for a LSD right now actually.

If you really really need the money. I reckon you should sell off all the good bits and then sell the stock car to get maximum return.

But seriously no matter how tight your financial situation is, if you really love the car and you own it outright, put it in the garage and get a cheap daily.

You never make back your money spent and once you sell it off for chump change in the current market you will kick yourself.

Should command some decent coin having the big single onboard atleast Jordon.

Sell off some parts like rims and anything thats removeable to a degree but id leave the car with big single atleast should get well over 10k for that alone. Bodykit has to stay more trouble then its worth to remove and they dont sell well anymore as kits.

What figure are you aiming for ? We all know to well prices have plummeted Mad

Any pics and power figures at all ?

To put it in perspective

LSD 800$
Turbo kit + intercooler, easy 3.5k
Exhaust 700-900$
Volk GTC $1500 with rubber
Brakes $800+
Coilovers $300-$950 Depending on condition
ECU $500-$600

you have some choice mods on there but wont get all value for it so i say take out most removable parts like ecu/headlights/wheels/dash/4pots/exhaust ... this is about 4-5 grand right there. and then sell the car for about 10-12g with the kit single and all.

but if you sell this car you'll need to buy another daily for around 5k and well you'll be left with around 6ish grand. so why not get rid of above parts and more and just keep the car. you'll still have above 5grand to play with and keep your aristo.

I hear ya guys, some good suggestions there.

I think i may have to remove some parts then try to sell the car, if i can't sell it then more parts will have to be removed and the price of the car adjusted accordingly of course.

Gerardo: I would love to store this in the garage but the wifey won't let me keep two cars anymore, that's how it all started when i got force to sell my daily, made me choose between the two. i'm sure a lot of ppl on here can relate.
I think it comes down to more the maintenance side of things aswell, regular servicing, parts and and owning a car like this...the temptation of mods = black hole that all my money goes into.

I suppose it comes down to the value of the car aswell, has anyone checked redbook lately? The first two years of owning this car, i had agreed value cover with my insurance company for $19,000. Now, they refuse to do that and its covered under market value which is a joke.

Jamie: I was hoping for 18,000 - 20, 000 but that's my dreaming price. I know i won't get that and i will probably remove parts and reduce that price by at least 5,000 - 6,000 with retaining the single and see if it sells. Pictures of engine bay will be up soon, pictures of the actual car itself is in my members ride page. Old pictures but it pretty much hasn't changed externally apart from raised height and the VOLK GT-Cs instead of the Weds.

So i'm thinking, stereo is definately getting removed, already got some stock speakers comming from Jamie.
- IMEC ECU
- James05 Modded headlights
- VOLK GT-Cs
- Supra Brakes
- JZS161 steering wheel

i doubt he will sell the IC kit because it would have been modded to fit his single turbo. Also i could be interested in the supra brakes. Could swap for stock brakes if your interested? Grr seems i'm 8 mins to late for the brakes haha. Well put me down for second dibs

Keep them comming. I'm going to put everyones interest in a spreadsheet and record first dibs, second dibs etc. I will start contacting interested parties once the ball gets moving a bit more and i'm 100% commited to parting with the parts.

Gerardo: Yer mate, i will most likely be selling those parts, you have first dibs. Will let ya know although i still have my old exhaust here.

bulldogger: I hear ya fella, you got first dibs on the ecu

novercain: I probably won't part with the intercooler setup because of the modified pipe that goes with the single turbo

dazza: where have you been? first dibs on the brakes...no problems lol

Warfare: Pics will be up soon for wheels, which part of the stereo would you be interested in?

If there's enough VIC boys interested, might have to organise a meeting and it will be pick-a-part-day on my car...
