Just remember pretty much any steering wheel you put on will either not be airbag equipped, or if it is, you will have a hard time getting the airbag to actually function with the Aristo since they use different harnesses.

THe steering wheel in the aristo is imo one of the "sore spots" to my eyes lol, but i dont think its worth the effort of aftermarket if the airbag isnt going to work.

Even the TRD "Airbag" wheel has a disclaimer saying the airbag isnt actually functional

When I had my VL I sourced ten of these NOS circa 1988 Momo wheels from a guy in Austria for $80 each...would look pimp on a Aristo I reckon. I wish I'd kept one, but I made about $2500 bucks off them at the time Razz

Are all the Aristo steering wheels the same?

I must add that mine is in excellent condition and I don't really mind it at all? The problem with aftermarket wheels is that they do really look aftermarket.

I have seen the Aristo wheels worn and they look terrible.

Bringing back an old one here.

Any more insight on what steering wheels can be interchanged?

Mine is worn and looks horrible, and let's face it steering wheel covers are not an option.

Yeh that could still be an option, but over time the grey has turned blueish. I guess there is always paint.

I was really wanting to get another wheel from a Lexus or late model Toyota.

Celsior wheel? New Crown wheel from Import Monster and a whole lot of screwing around to get airbag working, let alone cruise control? All seems like too hard basket stuff.

Hang in there from time to time halfcuts pop up with perfect unblemished wheels.

You'll find with alot of wheels out there the cruise stalk wont clear.

I thought the stalk stayed on the wheel itself?

Defeats the purpose if you cruise control & you'd eliminate it...

It does but id want to keep cruise if twas an option to begin with.

I didn't realise you could leave the stalk behind when taking the wheel off.

I have a boss kit with aftermarket cruise if anyone wants it
