Hi all,

With the warmer weather coming and this Forum growing, I am looking at putting together a Forum polo shirt.

The shirts would be available in Aristo colours - Black, Grey (for Silver) or White. These polos are top quality 250gm shirts.

Each shirt would have the "ARISTO" logo embroidered on the front left breast in white in the case of Black and Grey polos, and black or grey in the case of White polos.

I'm not too sure about the Forum web address. I would have to clear its use with Forum Admins but I was thinking "jzs147.com.au" on the back, screenprinted.

Initial order would have to be minimum of 20 shirts to keep setup and overall costs to a reasonable $$ figure.

I am expecting an all up cost, posted anywhere in Australia of about $45.00 all up. If there is sufficient interest, and its okay to use the web address on the back, I'll get a more definite quote and let everyone know.

Is there any interest?

Cheers,

Peter

Id definately be keen... But i think the front logo and web address on the back should be embroided onto the shirt rather than just screen printed on which wears out...

What about having the "Aristo" logo on the front left AND also below that or possibly on the right hand side put our names or forums nicknames ???

Either way im keen... Make it happen !!!

I'm keen for a black and a white one. I like the idea of nicknames being embroided, but at the end of the day I'll go with general consensus Smile

Funnily enough, I was thinking about this the other day! I have Rampant shirts, jackets hats and pens so I was thinking of going to the people who made them and getting some prices on different things. I'm not a huge fan of polo shirts, I have pit crew style shirts and thought they'd be good with the Aristo logo on it.

I think all I'd need is a vectorised version of the ARISTO logo if anyone here is arty enough to do that? Preferably the same text as is on the ARISTO garnish on the back of the car? Smile

Yeah, I like the polos better - more casual and easy to wear. I'm also getting a price for caps with "jsz147.com.au" embroidered on the back.

I have the bitmapped logo and also a program that the vinyl cutters use to vectorise bitmaps, so I can do that no problem. Its usually a TIF file the screenprinters want.

I'm sending a request to the company that does all my stuff for racing today so I'll have firmer pricing by early next week, if not sooner.

I like the idea of embroidered backs too but I was thinking more of keeping costs down because for each new embroider there's a setup fee for non standard typefonts. If they don't have the font they have to convert the type to a graphic to embroider it.

Also, keep in mind that a different name on each shirt, whilst a great way to "personalise" garments adds costs because each garment becomes a single job, but I think its a good idea too and will ask for a separate quote to do that.

Thanks to all those poeple who have expressed interest - I think we are about half way there to making this happen.

Cheers,

Peter

Here's the list so far. I'm assuming unspecified colours are Black - correct me if I'm wrong:

Name
Infotechplus Black x 2; Grey x 2; cap x 1
260QK Grey x 1; White x 1
ARI Black x 1; Grey x 1; cap x 1
2JZNOSHT Black x 1; Grey x 1; White x 1; cap x 1
Forsaken Black x 1; White x 1
Miggy Black x 1; cap x 1
Mattis Black x 1
Chickita Black x 1
JayVee Black x 1
Chappo Black x 1
Jaymei Black x 1
Dazwaaah Black x 1
Sub Black x 1
TNTDan Grey x 1; White x 1; cap x 1

Total: Polos - 23; caps - 5

What about caps. Anyone interested or have suggestions for a cap design?

I asked for a formal quote based on 20 polos and 10 caps. I've also followed up on the suggestion of names, and will get a separate quote for that feature.

Cheers,

Peter

Depending on final price i may take 3 shirts (one of each colour). Possibly a hat too if they look good.
