You don't need to take the head off.. Air compressor does the trick nicely - Just need the right tools. I have made a list of what you will need in my VSS thread (Search for it)..

Don't worry Rusty - I'm pretty easily satisfied Very Happy

Oh - For those that want to get the VSS done I would buy the Toyota Valve Stem Seal Replacement Kit from MVP Motorsports (Might be worth a group buy for those in Perth?)

You would then really only need two other ventilation hoses from Toyota (And PVC grommet if yours is leaking)..

Can be arranged.. I ordered parts today Smile

One question:
Are these the cam seals fitting under the cam covers? Do left and right sides have the same number? I thought they were different sizes?
Cam shaft oil seal 90311-40020 2 off - $13.51 each

Also, would be wise to get the pipes for when they crack.. crankcase vent hoses or whatever.. I think the part numbers are in the 100k service thread..

11213-46020 and 11214-46011 for the cam covers

The ones you have Russ are the cam seals that sit at the end of the cam shafts! LOL

Very Happy Now how did I know that?

Righteo Parts Required -

2x Cam shaft oil seal 90311-40020 2 off $13.51 each
16x Rocker cover seal washers 90210-07001 - $3.84 each
ROCKER COVER GASKET 1 - 11213-46020 - $26.72
ROCKER COVER GASKET 2 - 11214-46011 - $26.72
Hose, Ventilation 2 - 12262-46020 $20.65
Hose, Ventilation - 12261-46030 $14.20
Grommet (For ventilation System) - 90480-18001 $7.35

This does not include the two breather hoses that run between the two cam covers - I would assume that most people have already replaced these when they changed spark plugs.

Recommend but not essential -

12x Cam cover bolts 90105-06166 12 off $1.23 each
4x Cam cover nut 90179-06288 4 off $1.23 each
Valve Sub Assy, Ventilation - 12204-46020 $25.75

You may be able to just purchase the grommet for your PVC valve - If you just want to do that then don't buy the "Valve Sub Assy, Ventilation".

Also valve seal prices are as per below -

Valve stem seal (Inlet) 90913-02088 12 off $6.83 each
Valve stem seal (Exhaust) 90913-02123 12 off $9.12 each

All prices were from James @ CHT.

Just be aware, that list was written a while ago. Prices would have changed too. Or is that a recent update from you Chappo?

Also, for those interested:
The two ventilation hoses in the middle that run between the cam covers that you will also need to replace if you havn't already are:
12263-46010
and
12264-46010

So there are 4 hoses in total, including the 12261-46030 and 12262-46020 mentioned before.

Also, looking at the diagram on toyodiy, it doesnt look like the Valve Sub Assy 12204-46020 includes the grommet 90480-18001 ? So kinda looks to me like you'll need both Neutral Chappo? agree or?

The rest of the parts.. I emailed two different mobs in perth, and neither has responded to my enquiry so fuckem! Emailing CHT now. If i'm getting ALL of that ^^ it's about $250AUD from CHT according to those prices, do you think R&B NZ would be cheaper?

Yes - Rory will most likely be quite a bit cheaper - Or Curt in the US would be even cheaper again..

I would be emailing all three and getting the best prices..

Will be able to tell you soon how quick the shipping is from the states (And NZ for that matter).
