I would count the rear bumper as an issue as it sticks out further and doesn't look quite as nice Razz

possibly still a few pre-balljoint recall S1's around? But any car of that age will have fucked balljoints regardless so it's kinda a moot point.

It basically comes down to which ones you like the look of better - different taillights, rear bumper and front grille. That's about it. Although interestingly enough I remember reading somewhere that the S2's stock suspension was 10mm higher Confused

Theres also common issues with the electric seats fore-aft thing.

Also as in most Toyota straight sixes the valve stem seals.

And them stock open wheel diffs... Ive went trough 2 already myself, but then again might just be me, as I went trough 2 on my old supra as well...

Funny how i like the look of the S2 better but i like the S1 taillights better.

Ill still take my S2 over an S1, and of course generally S2s will have done less km.

Same here, straight after i got my S2 i bought a set of S1 tail lights and swapped em

I do think the S2 rear end though, looks better with the slightly longer bumper

Tom's is an S2 with the S1 bumper and it looks really good. i think the rears look better with the lights swapped. by that i mean S1 lights with S2 bumper and vice versa.

94 was the first series 2's.

But for 94~95 there was a 'pov pack' edition, that a lot of us have. The pov pack lacked airbags, but was available with (i think) all the other options, including sunroof, lsd, etc.
