Finally got home from work to find my new plates were at transport SA ready to pick up. Threw em on straight away, pic is on my avatar.

Should have my blitz EBC, boost tee, FCD and apexi pod (already have full exhaust) fitted by the weekend to back up my "747" claim... haha. Eeek Dance

Really looks great!
Got mine 2 months ago. Not sure if I want to explain to my kids what it means? So for now, it's in the cupboard. 69NXS

I've always thought that personalised plates were the worst mod for the car if you were ever trying to slide under the radar...nothing ruins the sleeper look more than spelling it all out in the plates.

I suppose it comes down to what you want out of your ride...I'm always trying to lay low and not be noticed so I've never bought personalised plates (not since I first got my licence back in 1990 anyway...and they were just intitials Razz )

good plates - "STOCK"

or... "NOTSUSS" "NOTURBO" "LEGAL"

I think they'd work it out though.

because the new 7 digit standard issue plates look shit and dont fit in the factory mounts. You can either get them or personalised.

"JZS747" is good because it's still alpha numeric so unless you know what the letters mean it looks to be a standard south australian plate so hopefully does attract the attention having "400HP" or something.

My front plate doesn't fit right, but then again none of the samples I saw at the DMV fit either, they were either too long, or too square and covered up more of my cooler, plus looked crap.

People who drive European cars get euro spec plates to fit - we demand Japanese sized plates!!!

747 Has been done to death and is on a few SA cars already. I give you a month before you cop a defect

Yeah, when you get personalised you also request a slim line front plate so it blocks less air going to your front mount.

If you look hard enough almost any plate you can think of has been done somewhere else previously. Who cares?
