I am extremely confused by this thread, as this is the exact ad of the car that i bought. Hemish did say he had another one on the way so maybe you got this one. Either that or the last few posts on this thread are made up??

thats the car that is here in townsville richard bought.Ive seen it here, its getting a roadworthy, check the car that you guys are buying has those rear bumper red reflectors, cause there not standard(you guys down there must be on the same crack as us up here. That has didnt pass a roadwothy after the car has been complied from there.Richard need a p/side frt wheelbearing, headlights need to be lowered and a few other things,so be careful and get the car you guys are lokking at roadworthy before you or anyone else buys it.nice car tho

they are obviously different cars... worked this out some time ago.

It is interesting that he has imported two, 2 tone aristos both with leather and both in very similar condition. Im also finding it a little dodgy that he is selling them both with the same carsales ad....

Also bizzare they have the same 18" BBS rims....

One other thing. What is the odometer reading on your car?

the carsales add is 64,228. in the report from state roads the kms listed on my car are 64,581.

What are the chances of two cars, same colour, same rims, same options and basically same kms? Seems a little odd. I'm going to call Hemish today and ask him what's going on here.

Spoke to Hemish (the seller). He said that yes, as I suspected he had imported 2 cars that were near identical. Both 96, 2 tone, leather, sunroof, LSD, woodgrain, BBS rims etc.

He said after the first one sold he just changed the kilometres on the advert as they looked the same other than the kms. Mine has 64-odd and he thinks the first one had 69-odd. The only other difference is the clear indicators as mentioned above.
