$800 for pipe and labour for a catback system is a bit steep as it would have only taken about 2 to 3 hours in a workshop with a hoist.

It looks like 409 stainless to me which does not retain its bright finish like 304, 316 or 321 but is widely used in the exhaust industry and even as original fitment from most car manufacturers.
