I've done the exact same thing with my AVCR, perfect size and fit. I put some nice black rubber lining around the outside of it to make it look a bit tidier.

Dremmel is your friend to get this done ...

Sounds very suspect.. My aristo has done 180k ish and the overflow bottle looks fine.

Check the brake pedals for wear (indicator its been driven heaps) and steering wheel if still factory item.

With the rarity of Aristo's it could be difficult! I am in CHCH from time to time (once twice a year sorta thing) up from Invers with my car, might have to do a South Island thing lol.

Paid $6k NZD about 3 years ago for my 91 Aristo. Was completely factory at the time except for 18" ROH Drift R mags. 159000kms. Was a mean bargain, especially back then! Spent probably $6k all up ...
